    Internals; do they get scaled?

afaik internal marks are only used to determine your rank within your cohort so scaling them doesn't do anything for you

Do you have to have natural smartness to take hard subjects?

If you're an algebra warrior, you'll be fine (except for proofs maybe) Like iddkdi said, the concepts are simple enough for anyone doing 3u to not have a really hard time and you'll be doing yourself a favour since any stem degree covers 4u topics in like a week whereas you'll have a term-ish if...

    guaranteed selection rank

Never heard of anything like this lol Maybe the people that got in with 90/91 had special considerations like graduating from a gateway school or had a different pathway? (Eg portfolio entry)

Do you have to have natural smartness to take hard subjects?

No I'd say your success in hard subjects depends on your background (eg how prepared you are) and/or if you're inclined to learn and commit

    Chat how do i study?

I don't use any study techniques, I find them very cookie cutter and generally unhelpful I can't speak on humanities but for math/physics/engineering topics, you study to gain intuition Consistently reading the textbook + supplementary material; drawing pictures, making remarks, etc; and...

    Gang am i doomed?

It does not if you have good internal ranks School rank is an indicator of cohort performance which you'll rely on if you perform badly internally

    Year 11 atar prediction?

bro even a prediction in year 12 term 1 is a stretch, I don't think you can get an atar estimate with year 11 marks ☠

    university????? help??????

Find a balance in things that: 1. you enjoy/are interested in 2. gives you purpose when you become employed 3. makes money 140k/yr is not a bad salary but be careful since the figures can be deceiving as nurses work a crap ton of hours

People who got a 95+ ATAR- what did you pursue after school?

Electrical engineers =/= electricians, there are a lot of things electricians know that electrical engineers don't (unless they get trained in that area) and an even greater amount of things that elec engineers know that electricians don't Career-wise, elec eng can go into a lot of things and is...

People who got a 95+ ATAR- what did you pursue after school?

The content is very enjoyable especially so in my case since I wanted to study a stem degree that is mathy without all the proofs I plan to go into electronics 👍 Also just some advice since you want to go into elec eng, understanding 3u and especially 4u maths will make 1st year elec really easy...

People who got a 95+ ATAR- what did you pursue after school?

Electrical engineering The effort is definitely worth it; I feel like I'm more relaxed during my trimester break than during the post-hsc holidays since I actually enjoy what I'm learning :)

    compsci or engineering

Go compsci if it's something you have passion and the ability to excel in If you want to work in tech/stem-related generally, go engineering since it's less of a gamble If you have the time and effort, do a double

    UNI MARKS

Fwik in unsw eng, no scaling, if the cohort bombs the exam then the hurdle might be lowered but that's up to the conveners discretion

how to get better at english writing

If you're able to, you can approach fixing this by compiling exemplar essays and taking note of their sentence structure and while you do so, you'll be able to pick up the vocab which will make your sentences more concise and less complicated in a sense Personally did something similar to this...
