Hi, I currently have a lab partner for one of my units this semester who never comes to class prepared. The unit requires that we do pre-lab work in order to understand what we need to do in the practicals which he never does, so I either end up having to spend the first 15 minutes of each lab explaining everything to him or I just do everything myself.
This week, I kinda got fed up with it so I sort of ignored him and he spent pretty much the whole 3 hour lab sitting at the computer doing nothing.
After the lab, I spoke to my demonstrator about the issues I was having and she told me she would to talk to the convener about it. I told her I was fine either getting a new partner or just working by myself, but I wasn't interested in doing all the work for him while he reaped the benefits.
Does anybody know what they are most likely to do in these types of situations?
