How many people have the same ATAR as yourself? (1 Viewer)

Hi everyone.

Since the ATAR is a rank not, a mark, I'm guessing there for every 0.05 there is a certain number of people per ATAR. Does anyone know how many people get the same ATAR? I heard it was 30, but that seems a little low. I would have thought it would have been more like 50?

Depends on what ATAR you got. The amount of people gets lower as your ATAR gets lower: http://www.uac.edu.au/documents/atar/2011_HSC_Table A7.pdf But higher up, it's generally 45-50.

There were quite a few people with same ATARs as others at my school. I can confirm 3 combinations, and from an ATAR list (collaborated by careers adviser) I saw, there were a few very close to each other.
