From 2am tomorrow morning (Boxing Day) no more train services will run between Broadmeadow and Newcastle.
This represents a ridiculous decision by a developer-backed government to cut Newcastle's best transport link to Sydney and the Hunter region.
Apparently this is one of the steps in the process of 'revitalising' Newcastle - take away the transport so that more people can get into the city?!?!?
