Hard to generalise. Depends on who the private maths tutor is. As they say: "There are maths tutors and there are maths tutors".

No. Resources and structure of lessons will be too messed up. and less interactive in comparison to tuition centres

but I feel as though I might need to go private tutoring because I ask my tutor so many questions that cant be answered due to the progress of the lesson and I keep having to go to maths help at school for my tutoring homework😭

NAH NO WAY YOU'RE SHOWING THE TEACHERS UR TUTORING
a few people at my school do that, of course the majority don't for obvious reasons (and some of my teachers have shown (understandable) disdain towards tutoring), but some do. i know a mate of mine in a maths adv class who's told me their teacher helps them with tutoring hw at times if they don't understand it

this isn't necessarily the case. most of the time, structure of lessons is flexible, and some tutors out there really have crazy access to 500 billion resources, and i don't know what you mean by 'interactive', you get more personalised teacher attention with private tutoring than with group centres.
also another key note is that some of the smartest people in my cohort go private tutoring, so it's pretty much based on what you feel will fit you. it all just goes down to what you want in your tuition. for example, i like centres for maths because i like learning in a classroom centres and in terms of structure for lessons i want something more rigid because my primary focus is learning the content ahead of time

mb. Sorry wrong word to describe what I was trying to emphasise (ie 'interactive')

As a person who has had many private tutors throughout my schooling years (started at age 9), I have never found priv tutoring for math very helpful for progressing through content. However, they are great to discuss qns that you find hard. In your case an added private tutor would be helpful as you have literally been showing teachers tuition hw (not very ideal as teachers may view you differently and possibly may add more pressure on you). Again though, it is really a matter of your preferences. If AIM is not facilitating your needs, you should probably also consider a different service. As this may actually be the centre's pace and way of teaching that's pulling you back. Also consider online tuition, this way, you can rewatch videos and slowly develop your understanding through that.

AiM = assistance in mathematics - free school ran thing where u just show teachers the qns u have issues with and they tell u how to do it.
prefs to keep things cheap/free =]

In that case, I suggest before you make the discision to move to private tuition to try switching up the way in which you facilitate knowledge. Ie: I've seen so many people write notes immediately as the teacher starts writting- and its very harmful. Listen to the teacher and then make notes in your own wording- or don't at all for the class (given ngo and sons gives online copy of the class) and just write notes when you get access to the videos.

ngo doesn't let you write notes while the teacher is going through the content - if my teacher catches you for instance he'll call you out in front of everyone

My maths department literally tried to convince everyone to get tutoring at the start of year 11, that’s wild
omg really? i feel like the maths teachers at my school despise tutoring more than they're letting on, but they've just given up because i think almost everyone in every single stream of maths is doing tutoring

And whats the drive by dude? your tutor literally copies off qns in exact form on that mastering txtbook and then asks $1350 a term for itπŸ’€

Some reason this man has to research and investigate me as if I commited a crime or smn...
if you're talking about @Aeonium and scom, that's because the guys at scom wrote the mastering textbook...
