ok well heres an example...
if u catch 120 fish from a lake.. tag them then release then.... then u catch a randome sample of 80 fish and 6 are tagged... find the population of fish in the lake...
let x represent the population and use a cross multiplying technique...
120...
1m^2 = 80 grams
1m^2 = 0.08kg
now work out how many metres square in each sheet of paper
= 0.21m^2 x 0.3m^2
= 0.0623m^2
now find out how much each sheet weighs
= 0.063m^2 x 0.08 kg
= 0.00504kg per sheet
so...
lol well thats three diferent answers.... im so confused!!!!
maybe we could try with another similliar question that we KNOW the answer to lol... any one got any???
ok heres the question and i dont know how to do it...
Dana bought 2 tickets in a raffle... the tickets cost $5 each. 500 tickets were sold and the 1st prize is $1000. calculate her financial expectation..
well yeh if ur gna use the formula on the sheet then u have to solve it to find theta but i hate doing thta too thats y i showed u the other way lol... um im not sure how else to explain it .. let me think about it...
you have to didvide by 12 first.. for example.. if it was 24% pa then it would become 2% per month.... but wen working out the ineterest u cant use percentage it has to be a decimal... therfore u divide by 100 aswell.....
using the circumfrance of a circle.. = pie x diamter
= pie x 20
= 62.831...
the arc lenth of the cirlce (12) is a part of that circumfrence... therefor if u find the percentage...
well to find the volume of any shape its area times height so first find out how to find the area of a trapeze and times it by the thickness
btw i dno the formula for trapeze let me know if u find it
ok for the first question...
the population increased by 20% so it went from 100% to 120%......
then it decreased by 10% of the 120... so 10% of 120 = 12%
therefore the population at the end of two year is 120% - 12% = 108%
now u can see it went from 100% to 108% therefore increased by 8...
