General maths- Keep doing your past papers and knowing your formulas. I did General Maths last year, and I found that helped the most
Modern History- Print off your syllabus and start writing out your dot points while writing essays to get feedback. No point knowing your stuff if you can't argue it
Get your teacher to critique it. I can't stress that enough. They are the ones who mark the HSC year in and year out. They know what the markers are looking for
So here's my real advice with the subjects I did;
English Advance: GET FEEDBACK. I don't think I could ever stress this enough in my life. I earned a Band 5 by giving the teacher the essay I had written, get feedback, change it to do with the feedback, give it back. Over and over again. Also...
I believe in these steps;
1. Get it marked. Annoy the teacher. Chase them up at every possibility
2. Get back the feedback.
3. Rewrite the essay with the feedback and give it back to your teacher.
4. Get back the feedback
5. Rewrite the essay
6. Look at the essay and compare it to your last one...
