At my BigW you cant call in sick on a Sunday unless you are dying, you cant let someone else call in for you, adn you need a certificate if its on a Fri Night. Otherwise we get paid even without a cert as 95% of the people in my store are part-time and Managment cant be bothered chasing up...

How many recovery does your store have? We have like 3 or 4 people and like 12 zones to be covered. Sundays the place resembles a bombsite.

Good thing about Jetstar/Virgin/Tiger is that you can actually buy decent and "real" food off the menu. Id rather pay Virgin $28 to go to Sydney and buy my own food than pay Qantas $115. Its only 1hr flying time!
