    FINC 2011 at winter school?

I need to take a winter school unit - I can take some junior arts units or Finc2011. I have read the BOS subject guide and apparently it's not a particularly easy subject. I have done the prereqs - ECMT and ECON - although it was 4 years ago (double degree), so it's not exactly fresh in my...

Help the accounting noob! Feasible to do Acct2011 and 2012 in the same semester?

I don't think they have PASS. I have only done FIN A because MAN A screwed up my timetable and meant I had one less day off. I will probably do it soon though. FIN A is awful. So boring.

Extra studying apart from Uni commitments

Ya college is not good for WAM/GPA

    Residential Colleges...

When I lived at IH we bonded over how shit the food was. As other people have said, you can make toast/eat from the salad bar. Or if it is all that bad, there is probably some kind of pantry somewhere, buy yourself some raw ingredients and cook! Or eat out if you can afford it.

Restaurant leaky fridge damaged my bag. What to do?

It's a pretty good bag (around $350 or so) I guess it's just from retail - if you want money back for "faulty goods" then you have to give them back. Eg I bought some shitty kmart shoes that fell apart in 2 weeks, they took them back even though they were ruined. I guess that is more for...

    who wears sunscreen to uni?

I'm thinking about trying Invisible Zinc. I find on hot days sun cream melts/sweats off me - what is the consistency like?

Restaurant leaky fridge damaged my bag. What to do?

I'm just afraid they will laugh in my face - it's not THAT bad. But when you spend a lot of money on a bag you don't want it to be rough and wrinkly :(

    Wardrobe Staples

I thought the idea was generally to spend big on the essential items so they are good quality and last, then buy cheapish trendy pieces to go with each season

Restaurant leaky fridge damaged my bag. What to do?

Saved up to buy a nice leather bag. I had lunch today in a Thai restaurant in Newtown. Had to put the bag on the floor - no room on table or extra chairs, then someone realised that the fridge (directly behind us) was leaking, and there was a large puddle on the floor. My one-month-old...

    french

^ I did ecop 1001 which was pretty boring for me as I had already done micro and macroeconomic theory. A lot of repetition, which meant decent marks - can't complain. If you are interested in Marx you will go well because Stilwell (the lecturer) is particularly interested in Marxian and...

    french

It's really not so bad. I am majoring in French along with some other kids - ever semester we roll our eyes and ask ourselves why the hell we are continuing. 1631 & 1632 are pretty awful, but they do kind of cover grammar fundamentals giving a base which is built on in senior years. You then...
