My comp is fixed now. :D ever since i did system restore, now when i restart it everything loads up like normal. Bg, icons, taskbar, start menu. Everything is fine. So, it's A-OK. =D and, lol, if you really want that yin/yang symbol, then just screw up your comp like i did somehow. xD

ok, i tried resetting the background and i got this: http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/mm88/ssejychan/IMGP2549.jpg . So, the background is fine, but there is still no task bar. I can't access the start menu to run anything. :'( Unless there's an alternate way to do it.
