Interesting, on reddit and other websites people seem to say Windows laptops have problems with the software needed for CS/SENG.

Just interested to know what UNSW societies some you guys have joined and recommend.

I know I can use the UNSW computers but I also want a personal laptop that I can work from. So what laptops do people recommend for software engineering. I heard that Windows laptops aren't a great option, is this true? Any CS/SENG students what do you guys use? Thanks

Hey guys, I just wanted to know if I should do a web lecture at UNSW for math1131 and how a web lecture works. Also when making the timetable why are there some tutorials on one day (Tu11a,Tu12p) and other tutorials with 2 days (Tu11a,Tu12p,Fri11a,Fri12p). Thank you

Well yeah. But there tends to be some students who believe that doing really well in all their others subjects and ignoring english will get them a high ATAR (me included). This means they use the time they would be studying for english to study for their other subjects (or procrastinate lol)...

This might be a bit of topic and you have probably heard this enough. BUT I STRESS THAT YOU DO WELL IN ENGLISH. As a 2019er it pushed my ATAR down way too much. I did 6 subjects and got 4 B6's (low, low, mid, high), 1 high B5 and a high B4 in English. Whilst I should have gotten a mid 90's ATAR...
