yeah thats true that a lot people dont try after getting it in trials nad HSC and yeah it sucks because it is selfish for your other mates who are gonna use the ATAR.

yeah @oml uow especially gives a lot of early entry to engineering or other stuff but ofc a lot of students drop out bc its too hard

altho they declinded one of my friend who applied for the bachelor of comp sci which at least shows they have standards (no offence to my friend but he would agree with what I said lol)

and yeah they also do give deans scholars in uow (95+ atar I think) for early entry which I guess will be a lot more thought put into it since its a more serious thing.
one of my mates who defo deserves the early entry deans scholar s cracked at all his subjects (MX2, chem, phys, english) plus we go to like the best or 2nd best school in our region so it does make sense why
