What would I need for a 99 atar? (1 Viewer)

I do:
Business Studies
Economics
Math Extension 2 (and 1)
English Advanced
English Extension 1
Physics

What marks and rankings do you guys think I need to get a 99 ATAR if I go to a top 40 school?

It's difficult to know without looking at historical data from your school. I recommend checking HSCNinja to find out the rankings of past students who got Band 6's in each subject. A Band 6 in all subjects is usually a 99 ATAR or very close to, so that will help you setup your ranking goals. But I'm not really sure what marks are necessary because it will depend on the exam and the performance of your grade.

At least band b6's for maths subject and band 6 for another 1 or 2 subbies.. I know ppl that got band 6 for Maths X1 and X2 and that gave them at LEAST 98.60

Honestly hard to tell at the moment... with the new syllabus and everything that's going on (COVID-19), scaling and the marking of exams will be very different this year compared to last year and previous years. Maybe try an ATAR calculator once your trial marks are finalised? Then you'll be able to get a rough idea of where your tracking...
