I started Maccas at 18 and it was my first part time job, so I must've been pretty lucky. :P I get something like 13.34 an hour. I think for a first job you really can't complain toooo much otherwise you can't work your way up.

Hey there, What faculty will you be studying as part of? I am doing design, and I had the same 'problem'. I rang up UTS, and they told me that it is the same situation for other students. However, don't take my word as this may depend upon your course perhaps?? :confused:

Really is the bonus UAI points system in its second year?... I thought this year was the first..

Yeah "shesays" I also thought the UAI cut off for vis comm would go up, except not particularly because this year's students "performed better", but rather due to the introduction of the UTS bonus scheme...

I went to the advisory day yesterday at UTS, and even when I asked some of the assistants from the Design Vis Comm stall, they said weren't sure how the UAI cut-off will end up being. C'mon 17th Jan please come... :P It feels slightly more torturous than waiting for HSC results. :rolleyes:

Is it just me who thinks it's mean making us wait a while for our HSC results....and then again for offers?? I have friends overseas who recieve their high school yr 12 results in just over a week... I am probably just impatient :rolleyes:

I have a question regarding the bonus scheme too... I know that: with the bonus scheme points will be added to students' UAI according to what band they got for the HSC subjects they studied which are included as part of the scheme. Will the UAI cut-off be raised because they'll be adding on...
