Just gonna post this here.

How can I let the battery drain 40-60% once every month when I'm going to be use the macbook everyday? Do I gotta keep the charger plugged in? Isn't that bad?

I need some clarification with charging the battery, I read this post and I need someone to explain this simply, what do I do? "Also never let your macbook battery drain below 20%, always plug into the AC power if the battery gets to 20%. Ideally you should let the battery drain to 40-60% once...

Is there a way to fix the drag release day? I done my research but better touch tool (the solution I found) is not free anymore so it's not so much a solution now, any ideas?

Also what should I do with the $30 iTunes card that came with the macbook?

Is there a program equivalent to MS Paint for mac? I want to be able to crop parts of a photo and resize the image with the pointer (just like in MS Paint).

When I made this thread, I had already bought the Macbook Pro with Retina 128GB, but it wasn't opened (still in the box) because I didn't know whether to refund it or not. It's a beautiful device but I think it needs time to get used to.

Also I'm having trouble highlighting text, obviously to highlight a text you just click once, hold, and drag, but for me after the drag I have to tap once so I'll be able to move my mouse freely without having to highlight more (unnecessary) things. What do I do?

Is the mac book charger magnetic? Is there a specific way of taking it out? Because I feel like it's about brake or snap when I take it out lol.

Also I'm such a noob with how the macbook works, are there any things I should know? I don't even know how to scroll properly on pages and such.

Thanks for your reply, but I'm still not sure as to whether I should stick with the Mac Pro or not. The things that I love about the Pro is: retina display, high processing speed compared to Air, 8gb RAM, and I think that's about it. But what I'm worried about is the 128GB storage, I have USBs...

I'm doing a science degree (so I gotta be typing up alot of things). I can already put office and I'm not sure if there is paint because I'll probably be needing that for copying photos, resizing, etc.

Is there a better macbook than the MacBook Pro (with Retina Display) 128GB for uni and is required for general stuff e.g. browsing enter, typing up documents (these are done simultaneously most of the time), watching videos, etc. Is 128 GB enough? Weight is not a factor, so is there a better...

Notre Dame doesn't have ATAR requirements (but they still have an interview with you), so you can consider that as an option if anything happens.
