okay is anyone doing any beethoven sonata pieces besides the moonlight sonata? i'm planning of doing op2. #3. BUT, its supposedly like 20 minutes altogether. and i'm having trouble with the editing and so forth.

what instruments is that you were auditioning for? did u get into any of them? when are the applications due in.... FECK. this is so frustrating. everyone keeps telling me different things. and i'm tryna piece one and one together but its as useless as mending broken glasses of window.

i'm so scared the piece is too easy.... FECK. can't they just give us more info on that whole what level you should be at in MUSIC 1. i'm so exhausted from wondering which pieces i should do. 3 minutes you recommend? my school teacher recommends 4:30.......=|

to do music ed at UNSW,, do you still need a grade 6 theory? cos i've finished piano.. as in im doing diploma now, but have no started theory.

i don't know about you, but i'm doing diploma piano, played guitar and drums for 2/4 years and am doing 4 performance pieces for HSC [im doing MUSIC 1] - 2 piano, 1 drum, 1 guitar piece... and i'm having trouble with the whole "what grade should i be in" too......

no you don't know me. okay, so i admit when it comes to learning new instruments it's preedy easy for me as i use piano as the basis... BUT..but, when it comes to singing.........i am WAAAAAY off. how long does the audition have to be? 'cos i'm trying out for the syd con too, and apparently...

i find the singing unaccompanied bit disturbing. how long would that take?

bands. i have been working on 2 ensemble/band pieces. lead guitar - "moonflower" by santana with the band. drums- drum ensemble with a few auxilary percussions. i am still wondering how they are gonna mark piano pieces. i'd think its rather tedious listening to beethoven movements!!

2-3 hrs with breaks in between.
