I had something similar on my first job. From memory it was something I ticked on my Tax form when i started the job. Basically it resulted in more money being withheld.
It works out in the end though as I got all the excess back when I did my tax return. Nice big refund :D
You could always...
In my experience if your shifts suddenly decrease to zero as a casual there are two likely reasons:
A) Business is really slow and they just can't afford to have too many people on
or
B) They want to get rid of you and make you quit.
I've seen B) a number of times working in retail. It's...
I hope that your email address is also fake.
Make sure you have a professional sounding email address with your first and last name i.e. john.smith@iinet.com.au
Nothing worse than having some random nick name as a primary email address on a Resume.
Glad I checked back here.

I applied in the last recruitment session (ended in June). It's pretty tough to get in. They get around 5000 applications for 160 jobs.
Haven't heard anything back yet but they're probably still sifting through all the applications.
There's a variety of stages you have to get through and the...
Good Luck with that. Especially if you're casual.
I'm surprised you can only work 4 hours a week (or this how much they roster you?). With that low amount of hours I guess you have nothing to lose but if you are casual it will be pretty hard to make them pay up + you won't make any friends in...
Hah Target...Lasted there fore 3 years.
At my store there was no alternate employee access so what you had to do was bang on the roller door until someone opened up. Isn't there some sort of door bell at the 'back door'? Did they tell you to use this as an entry point in the morning?

That's pretty much correct. Training is once a week (varies between units but it's usually around 7pm-ish till around 9:30). Since it's volunteer work nothing is mandatory but don't expect to get anywhere if you never turn up for training. Of course SES realises that you aren't available 24/7...
No you don't have to turn it off. You can have it all ready to go on the desktop. You might have to follow the previous steps I outlined in this thread though

Not sure if the course differs between unis. I do it at UWS

Careers...too many to mention. Depends what you major in I guess (criminology, sociology, humanitarian & peace studies,....)
I haven't done any other degrees so I...
There's heaps of train lines around of Europe. I caught a train to Stuttgart via Strasbourg. Shouldn't be an issue
Paris is OK but I found it too touristy. I liked the smaller towns much better. Maybe it's better in Winter; i was there in Summer which is peak season.
Once you hook it up the cable you'll need to change the output on your laptop (otherwise there'll be no picture on the projector).
On my toshiba it's done by pressing the "Function" key (FN - between Ctrl and Alt) and while holding that pressing the F5 key (has a small screen on it in grey)...

So are the tutorials not listed at all or are they just all full?
I'm pretty sure you're not in ****. I was stuffing around with my units until last Friday with my tutorial registration being last monday. It just means you have less choice.
Maybe email the unit coordinator of the units...
