Since starting physio ive realised i'm more interested in the internal physiological processes/structures of the body and the effects disease/drugs have on them... as opposed to the outer biomechanical influences on bones/joints/muscles... Now im all confused about what to do with my life :(...
Sounds like a way for the uni to make money tbh. If its listed as a prerequisite then unfortunately you must present some proof of completion of some related course. in most cases this will require the student taking up the bridging course in the holidays - ie, big $$$ for the uni.
i remember...
its totally not that hard to maintain a credit average, especially in health science.
First year subjects "insanely difficult"? Comon lets be real, functional muskoskeletal anatomy a and b and neuro are HUGE work loads yes, but the rest of the subjects are quiet simple.
tbh i wouldnt want...
Its an arts degree, does it really matter ? Does it really matter where you do any degree for that matter? It probably does for over pretentious nerds.
A degrees a degree - if you go well it doesnt matter where you go (ofcourse people who go to unsw and usyd law/medicine wont let you believe...
ummm that is so far from being correct its not even funny. physios dont just "do what a doctor tells them" , they pretty much plan/partake in the whole rehabilitation process. if its something obvious (like a break) a doctor will diagnose and then pass the patient on to physio for the rehab...
get into exercise and sport science (~ uai of 87), aim to achieve a credit average (atleast) and attempt to get into master of physiotherapy at the end of your 3 years. transfers from exss straight to physiotherapy MIGHT be possible, but would be a distinction average minimum in your first year...
go to myuni, go to your student admin, click where it says unit of study handbooks, enter in your current semester subject codes, itll list the textbooks there.
or you could just wait til your first lecture
Just do the single exercise and sport science degree. As stated, health science is a snore - has a lot of unnecessary researchy/theory/pysch subjects for wanting to go down the path of physio. Im sure if you still obtain a credit in E&SS youll get into masters of phys, despite the guarantee in...
Do you really think there is going to be serious health risks in a national health job ? Think about it. There is without question procedures and precautions that make this completely safe. Otherwise it wouldnt be allowed.
yep, thats what i meant - im surprised they included physiotherapy with the other health faculty degrees due to how competitive it is.
the bach of health science with a human movement major is really quite similar in units of study to the exercise and sport science degree. even with the...
Ok i just read about it on Usyd website. Interesting. Im assuming thats going to make it ALOT more competitive for non-health science students to get into a masters of physiotherapy. Im actually confused as to why they applied the guarantee to physio. I always thought exercise and sport science...
Whats this guarantee business?!? My brother just started exercise and sport science, with later intention of applying for masters of physiotherapy. (same route i took)
I thought it meant you couldnt work more than a certain amount of hours. It previously used to be around 16, but this year they raised it to alot more.
Thats what a Cumberland Campus student rep told me anyway.
She only said what were all thinking, am i rite guyhs !?!?
I'm not racist - but honestly, there's a point where enough is a enough. a line needs to be drawn.
To be honest, I also believe she isnt racist. More so just patriot and very protective of her amazing country. Unfortunately, alot...
Re: Uac offer of admission note - do i need to sign the bottom and send it before tom
Not to sure, it should mention this somewhere on your UNSW enrolment guide. At USYD enrolments you hand this in when you enrol in person, however with the UNSW enrolment process being completely online, im not...
Dumb question (i have 0 clue about finance/business) - but how do you just 'print' money ? is that allowed ? Or does the money they print get included in there debt or something ?
