    Maths for Engineering

My first preference is Commerce Engineering at USyd. I did Extension 1 but in hindsight would have loved to have done Extension 2, and it would probably have suited my degree better than other subjects I did. Which content should I cover in preparation for next year? I was thinking about...

    2018 HSC Marathon 3U Q and A

I thought it would be nice to have a thread for answering past HSC questions and any other for that matter, in the lead up to the exam in a few weeks. So here it is. I'll start off with one from the 2001 HSC which I have been struggling with. Any help would be appreciated...

    More SHM

A particle is moving in SHM in a straight line. It’s max speed is 2m/s and it’s max acceleration is 6m/s^2. Find the amplitude and the period of the motion. Also in $ $v^2=n^2(a^2-(x-c)^2)$ $ is $ c always the centre of motion? Thanks
