the math itself isn't difficult, the difficult part is identifying what the question is asking for and then using the correct numbers/formulas

Chem is actually pretty math heavy, the first module isn't though 😭 I think I might've made that confusing.

Oh and also, pay attention to the solubility stuff in year 11 (mod 1 I believe), it's very relevant to mod 5 in year 12

you're already doing better than me bahah I only started memorising them thoroughly a couple months ago 🤣 Mod 1 for chem isn't very math heavy (from what I can recall), but once you get into the other modules grinding practice q's is super important!

I can't speak for physics, but that will be a great start for chem! Don't try and overwork yourself, enjoy these christmas holidays (the last chill ones you'll be having for a while). The jump from stage 4 to 5 isn't immediately massive, there is a lot of revision. I would definitely recommend...

I do chem and bio, and so far they have slightly, but not majorly. Mod 3 and 4 of prelim biology are pretty "useless" for the most part. Mod 1 & 2 are probably most relevant, but again the carryover is pretty minimal. In chemistry the stoichiometric skills carry over, and a few other concepts...

Is anyone else feeling more motivated after seeing the HSC results today? Two people I know got 90+ atars (one got a 99+ and a top 10 state rank for one subject :oops: ) and now I'm feeling really competitive & motivated to (hopefully) achieve similarly.

My school got 4 band 6's this year!!! (last year was 0 lmao), feeling very proud. Someone got a b6 in bio, which makes me feel quite hopeful.

Just won year 11 dux!!!!! and got all my first in subject awards. Also found out my mx2 results..... 27/30

very minimal to be honest, just going to finish up my chem/bio mod 5 notes, read my texts, and I've also been assigned a bit of mx2 work. I might try to get ahead for bio/chem but it's no big deal. I'm working ALOT.
