    thanks for the tips! also, when determining the duty of care for a stat authority, what if the stat authority is related to the plaintiff in more than one way? if for example the stat authority owns a shopping centre.. would i be looking at the tests for a stat authority as well as common law...

    thanks hfis! and is the duty of care test for a stat authority the old Donoghue v Stevenson test? or has it changed to McHugh's Crimmins v Stevedoring test?

    if i've got a statutory authority that's liable under common law and perhaps a statute, would the statute override common law? or would it work together with common law in that it limits the liability the stat authority would face?

    oh man yeah. and all that comparing the author did was for nothing because it got me even more confused. there's another bit in either the same book or some other book comparing the subject with love. yeah miumiu, i checked out the tutorial series and it's much easier to read. simpler language...

    based on first round offers, i'm trying to choose between law at UWA, UQ and flinders. question 1. i intend to do as well as i can during the first year and then try to transfer to a better university. should i go with UQ? or UWA? or flinders? i'm not exactly sure how they're ranked with law...
