    Limits

    check the graph of 1/x and you can see that there can not be a two sided limit as x approaches zero because the graph of the function are going to opposite directions. therefore it does not exist. hope this helps. it also helps to know how the graphs look like

    hello all, im having problems with taking the derivitive of constants and implicit differentiation whats d/dx of pi(sinx)? what do i do with the pi? can i do implicit differentiation or is that only with "y"s?? thanks

    hi, i need help with linear approximatons. use the differential dy to approximate (delt)y when x changes as indicated: y = sqrt(3x-2); from x = 2 to x= 2.03 (when doing a problem, how do i know when to use the formula or solve for the tanget line.) thanks in advance
