I don't do DT but I got nominated for SHAPE for my Multimedia major for Industrial technology. For my major, I did a short film about time travel with a lot of special effects and explained it really well in my folio. I also made a website, posters and the video as a package to advertise my...
I would tell you one thing, start planning your individual project for drama from now and try finish it early so that you have more time to focus on the group project and build your content knowledge cause the low scaling in this mixed with the poor time management is a recipe for disaster
And please don’t use any letter as the variable names make it meaningful cause that just makes it harder to understand your logic making you lose a few marks
One thing i would tell you is that for the algorithms try have a modular approach to it, so try make your code in subprograms and then connect it with a main line so you don’t miss any functionality and it’s easier for the markers to read and understand
From what I’ve seen in the past papers I’ve done there is usually always one 5 or 4 mark algorithm near the end of section 2. Then there is usually 2 or 3 or sometimes even 4 3 marks or less algorithm questions scattered across section 2
idk but I can tell you tips to help you maximise your ATAR since I do almost literally all the subjects you do except business.
Maths - Grind past papers only way to improve and look at sample solutions to try help learn how to do the questions
SDD - Practice your algorithms a lot and the...
Hey all,
Just wanted to see what ATAR I could achieve. My goal is 90+, And so can someone help me out? My school ranks around 250's
My mark are as follows in the following order (Subject: Overall Mark, Trial Mark, Rank, b6 per year)
Information Processes and Technology: 89%| 83%| 1/11 | 1 b6...
I'm pretty sure it's the raw mark they got on the hsc exam not considering internals, and the HSC mark that they put there is the exam mark they got from NESA. So the marks on there don't actually count internals its only the external HSC component.
To answer in a nutshell, no
But do make sure that you revise your weak year 11 content so you have a solid base to push your rank really high and outdo your peers.
Considering this, I believe you have a fair chance at getting the offer, since you got an A in legal studies, But just make sure you try and smash out prelims and keep the A you have while lifting your other grades to maximise your chances.
It depends on the competition for the course and how many people actually apply for your course. But considering that the atar requirement is only 70 it would be highly doubted that there would be a lot of competition in comparison to something in medicine.
Considering this, I think that you...
Also keep in mind, that there are multiple offer rounds for early entry which are based upon when you submitted your application, so don't lose hope, yet it could just be that you submitted for the second round of offers for each university.
