    2024 HSC Chat

i think my memory is pretty solid in the short-term. i slightly break up my paragraphs into smaller parts so i have my topic sentences + abbreviated analysis. i just write over and over again one paragraph at a time and find my weaknesses then rewrite. it's repetitive but works for me🤷‍♀️

    adapting english essay

my biggest fear for english is that my essays will not match the question and i'll be screwed 😭 am i overthinking this though?? i've recycled the same body paragraphs for mod b and common mod all year (has worked) so i'm praying the questions are broad. i'm most scared about mod a though, since...

unsw psychological science vs psychology (honours)

i really want to do law at unsw, but my back up option is to get into a bachelor of psychology, work hard then do an internal transfer. although i doubt i'll even get into the psychology honours program, how truly difficult is it? i would ideally like my WAM to be 75-80+ to even have a chance of...

    coping with hsc stress

    coping with hsc stress

after winding down from trials, getting back into studying and realising that graduation is so close, the 'hsc stress' has hit me really hard. i have done good in internals and am proud of myself (i'm in the top 2 for all my subjects and getting 80s and 90s), but i always doubt myself a lot...

should I continue or drop english adv? (yr 11)

i felt the exact same as you in yr 11. i got 70s + a dodgy ranking and wasn't happy at all and badly wanted to drop to standard. as the others have said, if you put your mind to it you can do really well in yr 12! right now i have gotten 80s and 90s in year 12 and have ranked 1st overall by...

    internal rankings

i'm so sorry if this is very dramatic, but i'm ranked second in business studies. i am very happy but at the same time i am annoyed because my average got beaten by 0.20% even though i performed better in trials (but stuffed up the take home assignments). i heard that if internal rankings are...
