    Credit Point Confusion

I may as well post this here because it is related to the thread title (and I'm also doing Arts (meco)/Law... When a subject has a prerequisite of '12 Junior Credit Points', can you take it in first semester? In Arts (Meco)/Law, at least, we do 24 credit points in the first semester. So is that...

    Young Writer's Showcase notification??

Does anyone have an opinion on whether this 350 word piece would play a role in the selection of the major works for showcase? This seems like a departure from previous years... (especially the headshot that they want for the publication) - but I could be wrong. It's just interesting what the...

    History Extension HSC Exam 2009

^Thanks for that, it's calmed me down somewhat. Although I think if I got any calmer I'd be catatonic :/ history extension is always the last exam and always the one that i can't be motivated to work for -_-

    History Extension HSC Exam 2009

I've got a question. For section one, what's the most accepted number of historians to use? Like I posted in a different thread, my teacher is adamant that it's advisable to do, say, four in depth. But is that too little to do? To cover more historians would obviously reduce the depth of the...

What are you using for section I?

^Hey will. How many historians is considered enough, and how many is too many? My teacher seems adamant that it's best to use, say, four in section one (and about the same in section two), but the exemplar answers from 2002 have quite a few more. I'm still conflicted - a few in depth or many...

Parents reaction to you not making it?

Arts/Law at Usyd is a cruel mistress. My parents know how hard I've worked this year (I know I've certainly taken it out on them :P) and all the sacrifices and whatever else. So they'll be pleased whatever I get, but just disappointed on my behalf if I don't get it. That being said, they'd try...

    Someone has to ask it....

2 extra pages for WW1, 15 (I think) for Germany - Weimar 10ish for Speer, too long on part a) 10 for Conflict in Europe - appeasement

    G to the ERMANY

^^^ haha, same. I did a. Weimar. Not in my trials but in my half yearlies, and my favourite topic out of Germany :) 15 pages, I think. But fairly large writing - 7ish words per line, maybe 8.

    General Thoughts: Modern History

Hoooolllyyy crap. That paper could not have been better! I was beaming and laughing when I started the Conflict in Europe question (appeasement). LAUGHING. Does anyone else to appeasement for history extension? That paper was an absolute gift, right on my exam table. WW1 - best topics, great...
