Most graphics calculators can do more than just graphs, you can type notes onto them, store formulas and such stuff. Also, some university subjects ban graphing calculators as well.

Don't ask what subjects you should do, only you know what you can and are capable of doing, doing extension 2 English doesn't guarantee you will get a 99+ ATAR, do what you enjoy and are willing to learn and getting good marks will be much easier. Medicine requires 99+, 99.95 to be guaranteed...
