So I've been curious about the whole ranking thing and how it works because apparently if I'm coming say last in my school, but in the externals I come 10/20 I won't get that mark instead I'd get the lowest mark? Is this true? Instead the person who is ranked 10th will get my mark? I just need...

oh dear... so far what is my atar prediction?.... when you say "a lot of hard work", how much work will I have to put in? Like what should be scores in my assessment be.

Okay say you got 90 for 2u 60 for 3u and 60 for 4u are you better off dropping or keeping?

But isn't that the same as a band 5 in 2u? So isn't it better for me to do 2u?

Not when everyone is getting 80s+ because if I drop I get to go back to my old english class where I can boost my english marks? But isn't a band 6 in 2u better than a band 4 in ext. 2?

I don't know if this thread goes here? I do 12units In ext. 2 the topic conics made me reconsider of whether I should drop it. I mean it was very overwhelming and I think this where it made me kind of choke :speechless: . so imagine the later topics.. (that is my theory).. it would get harder...

Can people scores increase during year 11 - 12 if during 7 - 10 they only did average (as in 60's not 90s lol) and drastically improve to 95+? (ATAR results) Be realistic. I know possibly yes but reality? :jedi: This is with more determination, hard working because your future is on the line...

anyone in year 12 currently who's doing one of the subjects that involve a 'major work' is it stressful annoying time hogger :p

The 'fun' subjects such as hospitality, textiles, visual arts, etc. The 'not so fun' subjects like physics, chem, bio, history, etc. The time you put in Physics would be the same for textiles? What I mean is if you were planning to take a fun subject into year 12 would this be a good idea...
