I've always just called tutors by their first name, in my experience that's what almost everyone does

If you only do 3 subjects in first semester it will take longer, unless you overload later. If you want to add a 4th but don't know what to pick, it might be a good idea to get your people unit out of the way

If you want to do business then why start in arts? It's a year doing something you don't want to do and you might not get the transfer after all that.

In my experience, Mac is very similar to USyd, but imo Mac has better subject choices. Keep in mind that (for USyd at least) you don't need the 97 or whatever, you can do it through straight Arts or Science, which need 80ish

Had enrolment today, got an exemption for a stats subject which I wasn't expecting :) can't enrol in units till they process the exemptions though

It depends on the uni and faculty. Some unis weight things differently. AFAIK, at USyd, WAM is just your average mark, except if you're in science, in which case its weighted according to level. There are also at least 3 systems for GPA

I looked into transferring into the BLAS, one thing it has going for it is it requires a lot less senior credit points than other degrees, so if you were interested in lots of areas you can do that course and do lots of first year subjects. Of course, if you do that you don't go as in depth in...

I think they only do main round, not positive though. I would assume that would be enough, from what I hear cutoffs are usually similar for midyear as for start of year entry. But if there isn't that many spaces available it could go up a lot
