i'm thinking of doing engineering studies next year. i hear engineering studies is a boring subject. is it?
does it help if you want to do engineering when you leave school?
I am in year 10. I hope this is the right thread. I am slightly interested in doing S&C next year. I was wondering if someone could tell me if it is a good subject to choose.
speaking about English school certificate papers. it says to allow 20 mins for short answer section. i always do it in half an hour. just cant seem to do it any quicker. any tips?
Re: Stay at local, partially selective school or apply for better fully selective sch
Does anyone know if there is any advantage of going to a school with a huge amount of HSC students. For example St Marys Senior has about 400 hsc students and they are ranked higher than some selective schools.
Re: Stay at local, partially selective school or apply for better fully selective sch
I know Ryde is ranked quite low but does going to a selective school have any advantages?
I was wondering if anyone knew if economics was hard. I have been thinking of doing it. BTW I know a little bit about economics already but I just heard it was hard.
This PIP project for S&C sounds really hard and time consuming???
BTW my other subject choices are maths, maths ext 1, adv english, bio, chem, religion I and...S&C (not sure)
Re: Stay at local, partially selective school or apply for better fully selective sch
Well st marys and ryde are my only options. I just hope I make it to St Marys.
I have figured out most of my subjects. I just need one more probably. I need at least twelve for preliminary year. Any suggestions?
-Maths ext 1
-Advanced English
-Biology
-Chemistry
-Religion I
....which adds up to ten
Re: Stay at local, partially selective school or apply for better fully selective sch

I got accepted into Ryde Secondary College and St Marys Senior. I know Ryde is a partial selective school but I looked on the school rankings and St Marys is way above Ryde...
can someone help me
I am in year 11 next year and and have been accepted in to Ryde Secondary College and St Marys Senior High. Ryde is partially selective but St Marys is ranked higher than Ryde. Which one should I go to?
