Eh I guess I have only had like a 1-2 hour skim over how it works. The study guide is extremely good though; I suggest getting that over the textbook just for the extended response section :P.

So I only just got my creative economics study guide, textbook and workbook and wow... it is amazing. Does anyone else find it is so much more helpful as they link everything (topics, concepts) to the HSC exam? I prefer it much more than Tim Riley's... Sorry the thread might seem pointless but...

Wow, how are your assessments worth that much with one exam o-o? My school has like 10-15% weighting exams for term 1, 2 etc etc I forgot the rest. Anyways grats on your mark :]

I don't understand how people that do extension 1/2 'fail' a 2u exam. Unless there is a unfair examination (using topics that have not been covered) there is no reason, they are just being way too lazy. Also the concepts in 2u are considerably easier in comparison to 3u and 4u e.g. graphing in...

So after doing the actual HSC exam the internal marks gets moderated positively/negatively according to your ranking among your cohort?

I heard some people talking about this. Does it work like this: If you are 1st in a particular subject and you get 80% overall assessment, they will 'raise' it to like a 90%+ before they send it to the board of studies? If so, does this include 2nd and 3rd place? Thanks :]

Was your 'exam' a speech? What did you do wrong? - If it was a speech, well don't worry too much about it since the HSC exam doesn't actually test you on speeches. It tests you on your ability to reproduce essays that you have perfected in class and then adapt it to the question (key terms etc)...
