    SC Results Thread

Re: 2008SC SC Results ~ You guys did really good. (Y) English - 87 Maths - 75 Science - 88 Geo - 89 History - 93 Computing - 93 I'm pretty happy about english. I hate the subject and I usually do fairly bad. The low score for maths was expected. Everything else, i'm happy about. :)

    Exercise books/binders/notepads

That actually doesn't work for me. Unless you're super organised and date ALL of your worksheets. B/c this year for food tech I had a display folder for worksheets and an exercise book and when it came time to write notes, it took me ages just to get everything sorted. I had to know what...

How did you go in your semester 2 report?

I got 2 B's and 7 A's. B's were expected (english and maths) Weirdly enough, I did better in my school report than I did in the SC.

What I will NOT miss about year 10

lol, tell me about it. i could've chosen bio if I didn't have to do SOR1. T_T I think the fact that we've studied religion since year 7 is enough .. I'm even doing a useless year of photography just to fill in the gaps. It could be fun, but I don't think it'll benefit me that much.

    Work Experience

wow, i would've liked to do work experience, but my school doesn't let us do work experience unless we take 'work education' as an elective. o_O

    Learning ahead for Preliminary HSC

I'll rest every now and then, but i'd also revise a bit on some stuff from year 10. (maths, chemistry topic in science) B/c i think it'd be useless to learn ahead, if you haven't even mastered the basics. yahhhh. that's all I'm doing. lol

what i will miss about year 10

-The fact that wearing ties isn't compulsory during summer. Freaking seniors need to wear it each term. -I'll miss my maths class! LOL, my class was awesome and we had a pretty cool teacher. We'd learn the stuff at the start, then do whatever for the rest of the lesson. My teacher can even do...

    Science MC

I was choosing between hydrosphere and biosphere. In the end I went with biosphere since the whole point of the tracking thing was to protect humans and the like. Hydrosphere was just the ocean and stuff.... i think. lol

    Age/Gender of Supervisors

We had old ladies around their 60s and 70s. I noticed two old guys as well, but they were on the other side of the study centre. The old lades were actually pretty fast at collecting the papers, even if some of them were limping. Most of them wear really strong perfume as well.

    English Short Story - Poll

I chose kathy and her prize. My story was pretty lame, I suck at creative writing. Lol it was pretty much about kathy being an unwanted daughter no matter how hard she tried at school etc. Oh man, I'm like cringing just thinking about my stupid story. LOL oh well. Did you have to...

Anything funny happen in the test today? Anywhere?

the toilet in our study centre doesn't have a lock. (for what reason - I don't know) A girl went to the toilet, while she was in there one of the old supervisors walks into the toilet. LOL. She came back out laughing and asking why there was no lock. Haha. It was a nice distraction from geography.
