I was contemplating doing that for my workplace - an Italian restaurant. =) Would be pretty cool...and would be appropriate in conjunction with Dominos!
Thanks for reminding me of the idea. ^^
I just did some practice Multiple Choice on the BoardOS website. After this short break of mine I'm gonna go over my Case Study, notes and the syllabus.
I'm nervous for the entire exam! > < Hopefully I do MUCH better in Section II...and get a few more marks in the last two sections.
The only thing I'm preparing for is the Writing Task in the English exam on Friday.
I did (surprisingly) well in the Trials for all the essays so I'll use those responses in conjunction with my Trial study notes for revision.
Wow, I could never do an all-nighter.
I would be sleeping at 9:30pm and getting up at 5:30am for my exams usually. I guess it works for me. Each to their own?
Ugh, you know...my teacher has dedicated numerous lessons to actually make up a case study as a class that covers ALL syllabus points whilst using information from an existing one.
So for example, using a Coca Cola case study but changing the name to something like Oz Cola (example ONLY: I...
=P Nicely put. Same here. > <
Was meant to give up the entire internet today but nope! I'm here now! But no other sites or MSN. =) I'm quite proud so far~
Anyways, to all those who say they work better under pressure, I agree. Just as long as there are people around me that aren't...
Hahaha, I had the same experience for my half-yearly exams. Did so bad in the Writing Task because I didn't prepare anything. I went for the Writing Task session during Sydney West Lectures and I was inspired so much! I got 14/15 in my Trials after that. Aiming for 15 this time! =P
We were...
I know 2 people in my grade doing 3 Major Works each.
But you say you're being 'peer pressured' to do 4 Unit English? By who exactly? Because if that's the reason, I wouldn't do it. There's no point doing something somebody else is forcing you to.
Do what you really think you do well in...
Hehehe, practical is no bludge. Theory's like what everyone else has said, a load of BSing. =D I'm good at that. XD
Hahaha, I still remember back during the first week of Year 11 when about 5-10 people dropped. Yes, within that week. ;P
Yeah, that was the first song that came to mind. I have always loved it...
I'm pretty sure my school would be ecstatic (as well as emotional) if they heard this at our Grad Ball. =)
Yeah, I think I just probably need to think harder. I'm not much of a 'strategic thinker' in general. =P
Video games on the other hand... =)
Anyways, thanks for the advice. Much appreciated.
I hate this situation but it's inevitable. I've had 2-3 assessments due/to complete in one day back in Year 9 and 10.
I have learnt from this that prioritising is VITAL.
I've enjoyed reading Brave New World. Blade Runner's just...meh. I think that's maybe why I tend to put an extra 5% of discussion about BNW in my responses as opposed to BR. XD
King Lear wasn't too bad, either.
Frontline's pretty strange, but I suppose it really hits the nail on what the...
It is mainly time consuming (in terms of practical work) outside of school, not inside. If you decide to continue it in Year 12, you will have to commit yourself to creating a Major Work. That itself requires time and patience.
Also remember it's a balance of theory and prac. work. You'll...
