"Uni Grades are completely irrelevant to employers"

Not necessarily dude. It is possible to combine study with work experience, depending on the industry. Not sure if there are any/many opportunities for work in enviro science as an undergrad though.

"Uni Grades are completely irrelevant to employers"

Moc, are you working in a branch? I'm assuming that's the case because you entered banking without a degree. Obviously then, grades aren't as important. However, for the Grad Intake Programs for all major banks, there is a minimum Credit Average requirement. Beyond this, experience, skill set...

    econs or commerce with engineering?

Quite simply, an employer would look at hiring the person with an engineering degree. At the moment, that's what the field is like. Economics/Commerce etc etc wont make a difference. Heck, i'd go as far as saying that even grades dont matter in getting employed in engineering. You need the...

Need quick help with a drug survey

    1) Do you consider taking ecstasy to be a normal behaviour? No. Brushing your teeth is normal. Taking a shower is normal. Popping pills or doing lines is not. 2) Within your social circles, do you know of anybody who takes ecstasy? If so, what proportion? Yes. Quite a few. Have had many...

You srs? One of my mates gave me a moneith radler as a joke, told me they were a great drop. What a bastard. One mouthful is all I could stomach. No way was I going to corrupt my tastebuds with that godaweful excuse for a drink. At least import beers like Nastro, Asahi, Heiniken stick with...

"Uni Grades are completely irrelevant to employers"

Depends. The truth lies somewhere in between that, and the notion that grades mean everything. Too many examples of graduates with [relatively] poor grades in comparison to their cohort being successful in positions that many would think unachievable for such poor grades. However, there's a...

Barefoot radlers are rubbish. Terrible creation. Whoever thought of those should be hung, drawn and quartered. Nastro, on the other hand, is pure bliss when ice cold.

    accepting two offers

OP: Why don't you just wait until the UAC offers are released and then make your decision? You don't have to accept the offers on the day of release. Is this too common sense?

It's actually grown on me as a result of the NYE party I went to. Seeing builders and footie players drinking it kind of warps my view of it being a chic's beer. That, or it's warped my view of builders and footy players, who now seem to be careful of their carbohydrate intake. Also, Em...

Sophos has to be the best that i've used. I have used: - Kaspersky - AVG - Norton - ZoneAlarm ...and they are all terrible compared to Sophos. Added bonus is that it's free through the uni.

    econs or commerce with engineering?

Would Commerce benefit your ability to move into executive positions in engineering companies? No, not really. An MBA is what is usually needed to move into executive positions, and the company covers costs for you to undertake it.

Drugs kill daughter, parents blame unscrupulous people for taking advantage of her

Re: Drugs kill daughter, parents blame unscrupulous people for taking advantage of he No, i'm simply saying it's pretty stupid to say one of it's benefits is that it improves mood in people. Of course people being happy is great, but I was more looking for benefits that provide clout to argument...
