    Fannys is for tryhards

Clubbing doesn't appeal to me anymore. I'll take a beer, an irish pub setting and some great friends, over clubbing any day. Too many dumb fucks on pills nowadays anyway. Edit: Proofreading would have been a good idea.

    Laser Eye Surgery

I'm no pessimist. I understand the benefits laser eye surgery has for some. But it just amazes me that a lot of people (dare I say the majority) go ahead with it oblivious to the potential risks they face. 1/100 is quite a lot when surgery's are churning through 5 or so people at each sitting.

Best UNI for Commerce/Law or Business/Law???

I'm predicting Dominus being the user that drops out of Law School because it's not what he expected, and resorts to climbing the ladder at the local Kmart store. GG Dominus!

    The Football Thread

Re: The Official A-League Thread. I'm pretty happy about the draw for CCM. We avoided Gamba Osaka, Shanghai Shenhua and FC Seoul. Far too early to comment on potential form through the championship, but finishing well in this season is only going to help. Good thing that Adelaide and...

No, it's not. Pretty average actually. Mama's is pretty good, they cook up some quality pizzas.

    The Football Thread

Re: The Official A-League Thread. Diving isn't dirty, it's stupid. It's also the pretty accepted across the European leagues. Physical attacks (two legged slide tackles, punching linesmen) are much dirtier.

is anyone online i can ask 20 questions to?

Yeah, a few programs are being restructured from last year, hence they are cutting some courses and creating new ones. Happens across all faculties.

    Laser Eye Surgery

There is always someone who will tend to brush off potential for complications. My boss got it done, and the first time he went in, they basically sliced a layer off his eye incorrectly, and he had to wait another 6 months for his eyes to heal. Over that time, his eyes felt like they constantly...

    The Football Thread

Re: The Official A-League Thread. I did say that as a maybe strictly because I don't follow news on the other teams as much. Dirty? In one word: J.Griffiths. Firstly by punching the linesman at Bluetongue when Jets played CCM last season. Then in the news again, by the dangerous slide tackle...

    First Years 09

Yeah, after the initial nerves of being in the new environment with so many people, you'll realise it's not hard to make friends during lectures.

    The Football Thread

Re: The Official A-League Thread. If bogans are the tag for the Mariners, sure, I'll accept that as long as you'll accept that the Jets are the dirtiest team of the two (and maybe the league). There is far more evidence to prove Jets as dirty than CCM being 'bogans', whatever kind of insult that...

Best UNI for Commerce/Law or Business/Law???

My all time favourite post. :guitar:

is anyone online i can ask 20 questions to?

I guess it depends on the course. For Commerce/Business though, lectures are usually only scheduled once a week, so if you miss it, you'll need to catch up. Tutes though, are offered on numerous different times across the week.
