It's a huge building in Jubilife City, you'll know it when you see it. But you need at least one badge first.

Ah I think I worked out why they are giving so many out, it seems they are trying to unlock as many locations as possible on the world map (a little dot shows up on the map where ever you trade to someone from). And yea, they'd be hacking them in.

GTS is the WiFi place where you can trade with people around the world. No idea why they would trade them off.. but they did (and have been to other people). They are also both level 1, not level 5 for some reason.

Some random traded me the other two starters for level 2 pokemon over GTS... score. <3 WiFi :o

Yeah, I got my flashcart almost a year ago so I still need to manually patch the roms. Like stazi said you won't need to worry about that.

If that was at me, I just downgraded the conversion software a couple of versions. Works perfectly now.

Fuuuck yessss got it to work (i THINK). But with Pearl version, so sticking with that.

Guess I'll just wait it out a bit. If it isn't fixed my old save file is working anyway (which I'm around 10 hours into) so I'll just resume that.

It appears to let me save, but when I turn the game off and on again and try to load it I get a message saying something like "The save file has been deleted due to corruption or damage".

It's been happening right from the start. Pearl here, but if this save file corruption keeps occuring I might try Diamond and see if that works.

Weird I'm having some trouble with my save file, it keeps corrupting :\ My old Japanese .sav file seems to work on the english version though.. maybe I'll just play on with that if I can't get this working. (Using SuperCard Lite for the record)
