Bah. Internal drowning is when you drink SO much water that it has nowhere else to go and so starts getting into your lungs. This is done during the middle ages as "water torture". 2L a day is recommended amount, I think 'internal drowning' would have to be at LEAST 20-30L, non-stop. :p
