I KNOW, RIGHT! There is absolutely no reason why you should have 40 minutes (!!!) to write an essay. Admittedly, I only get an hour per essay in uni, but there's at least some time to pause and think. Still, it would be nice of them to reduce the pressure a bit (and the hand strain)...

Haha that's exactly why I skipped a couple. Did not want period whilst overseas or whilst on beach holiday. No thankyou.

Skipping periods made my boobies hurt. But I don't know if that happens to everyone.

Maybe make a big deal out of the smell but don't say it's her. Just say that something really really reeks and you'll have to find out what it is and clean it. Act dumb and maybe she won't realise that you think she stinks.

OMG MR CREE!!! He's my all-time favourite english teacher ever. On topic- remember that the number of words you write does not equate to marks. Perhaps practice writing concise essays, so you have less to write and more time to think and edit.

Re: Semester 1 Chatter Thread and surely, if the assessment is awesome it at least deserves a HD. Unattainable standards are not going to increase student performance. They're more likely to say "Well i can't get a good mark so fuck it" (yes I'm studying assessment at the moment)

Re: Semester 1 Chatter Thread I've attached myself to my computer via noise-cancelling headphones, so I can't hear if there is anything good on tv. I've typed some 750 words this morning, and I need another 500ish before I can print stuff out. Hurrah for waking up stupidly early.

I just started watching the tv series because it's always on. And I'm enjoying it. But I'll wait til I can watch the movie free on fox. re SJP- Dad always calls her (and Penelope Cruz) Seabiscuit.
