    2008 NRL Premiership

Melbourne for grand final again in 2008. With Bellamy as coach, it doesnt matter which player/s the side loses, all that happened last year was built from him. Add into the mix Inglis, Smith, Cronk and Falou...and if ALL of those guys arent injured for lengthy periods at the same time, then I...

    difference between economics and commerce

Politick was being sarcastic. Economics is seen by some (many) as not being a relevant nor practical degree. I tend to agree.

    2007 NRL Thread

Well, with all that has come to attention in the past week, I wouldnt think these topics are THAT unrelated. Even today, Tallis came out and said that he made a complaint against Johns 7 years ago, which leans towards a cover up, or at least, gross inaction by the code. But nonetheless, we...

    2007 NRL Thread

"Recreational" drugs are having a massive impact on society. All you need to do is talk to some of the ER doctors and hospital staff of the many different kids they see regularly, because they don't know what they are playing around with. Ecstasy and Cocaine are highlighted in the media...

Here's some money, now go away.

Australia brings many different backgronds together as one, Aboriginals especially included. Saying sorry for past governments "mistakes" (to put it lightly) is only going to further harbour the "us" vs's "them" attitude, and imo isnt likely to further the assimilation efforts. The time to...

    2 year contracts

Are you meaning to say that if you were a partner at an accounting firm, you'd allow incompetent graduates from uni (sometimes with no experience) to continue working in the firm? Its nothing personal, its business.

    Homosexuality in Australia

Yeah, I havent looked at all. This is a pretty large thread, so il leave it up to you Mr Mod! :) For the community on a whole, I see this as being a massive issue. Realisation that there are members of a community that dont have the best interests lying in the community as a whole, and more...

    Homosexuality in Australia

No, I stated that there are indeed people that are natural homosexuals through genetic makeup. Although im suggesting that not everyone that says they are infact homosexual, has the natural genetic makeup. Rather, that there is a percentage of the homosexual community that instead through life...

    Homosexuality in Australia

Before posting comments regarding this, realise this is only a theory I have been considering, and im in no way shape or form claiming its one that I hold. I have simply been considering it based off nothing more than first hand knowledge and interaction with a sample of the gay community...

Dance Champ Teen Found Dead Before Exam

Ever heard "fall down 5 times, get up 6"? Different outlooks on life. People that dont focus on the bad moments and disappointments in their life arent self-deluded, they are just fortunate enough to be able to not worry about the pressures of life that many others may not be able to handle as...
