How did everyone go in this years mathematics, english, science and history competitions?

What maths textbooks did you guys use for year 10?

How is cambridge in terms of explaining everything clearly? and reliability of solutions at the back of the book?

Hmm, the most trouble i've been ...probably being told to stop talking in class! i know, i'll never forgive myself.

Possibly just leave them for my younger brother, but until then their soul purpose is to collect dust.

That was very easy ...finished within half an hour, yay we got to leave as soon as 40 minutes was up. Did anyone else get to leave early? how long did everyone else's test go for?

How does it compare to the previous years trials? Harder, easier, the same?

How did people go about answering the question involving the equilateral triangle grouped with the other triangle that had double the base and twice the area ...or something like that?

Geography Lmao we have the worst teacher in the world and he makes the topic seem incredibly (!) boring, it put's you off entirely. History Can't remember everything too well. Science Trouble remembering everything, but other than that i'm fine.

I wrote convection as well.

haha, computing test, might look at some sheets that we got, but i don't think i'm going to stress over it

Expecting band 5's, i would be pretty happy if i got a band 6 for maths, since that's the only one i really cared about (though didn't study for)
