Hi, my name is Prashant and I have recently graduated from Kellyville High School in 2009.
I would like to provide my tutoring service for:
• Year 7-10 students (all maths levels)
• Preliminary students (General Mathematics)
• HSC students (General Mathematics, Biology, Business Studies)...
This is for Mx1 + Mx2, substitution questions:
When the substitution is give as:
y = sqrt (2x - 3)
Are we allowed to rearrange the substitution to:
y^2 = (2x - 3)
(and then ddx both sides) ?
Thanks.
For example if the question asks to analyse the method of expansion using a case study.. since no single case study refers to ALL the methods.. would we get marked down for using five different case studies, one for each method?
Hey, i just wanted to ask : can we use actual 3 unit projectile motion integration procedures to solve projectile motion questions in physics? cause i've tried it for a couple of questions and the answers work out.. are we allowed in the hsc?
Im just wondering, since in 3 unit the substitution is given, do we have to use the one given or can we use an easier one (where applicable)..
eg: sqrt x^2 + 3 given use "x^2"
- can we use "x^2 + 3" instead??
thanx
