    Substitution Question Query.

    This is for Mx1 + Mx2, substitution questions: When the substitution is give as: y = sqrt (2x - 3) Are we allowed to rearrange the substitution to: y^2 = (2x - 3) (and then ddx both sides) ? Thanks.

    Is there a limit on how many case studies we can refer to?

    For example if the question asks to analyse the method of expansion using a case study.. since no single case study refers to ALL the methods.. would we get marked down for using five different case studies, one for each method?

    Hey, i just wanted to ask : can we use actual 3 unit projectile motion integration procedures to solve projectile motion questions in physics? cause i've tried it for a couple of questions and the answers work out.. are we allowed in the hsc?

    Substitution..? use the one given or your own?

    Im just wondering, since in 3 unit the substitution is given, do we have to use the one given or can we use an easier one (where applicable).. eg: sqrt x^2 + 3 given use "x^2" - can we use "x^2 + 3" instead?? thanx
