    How many wavelengths can we see in the laser spectrum and why? I thought it would have just one but then there's multiple wavelengths of the colours that's used, so if someone could help explain that would be appreciated. Does a laser have just one wavelength or mulitple wavelengths?

    Why are chlorine and bromine ions acidic?

    Basically the title. My teacher’s notes say that if you test it with litmus paper it should stay red meaning it’s acidic. Wouldn’t the Cl and Br ions be basic since they’re conjugate bases of HCl and HBr which are strong acids?
