    Environ Management Essay Q

I don't think you need to explain all of that in the essay. :) The examiners will understand the 'eco jargon'- so saying that the CAD can act as a "speed limit" will be fine. If you've got alot of time I don't think it would hurt. Good luck!

    Environ Management Essay Q

Strong economic growth leads to a surge in import spending, particurlarly if domestic growth exceeds global growth rates. Thus during periods of strong growth, the BOGS component of the CAD tends to rise, and thus leading to higher CADS. This is known as the 'balance of payments constraints'...

What do people think will be the essay questions for economics?

I think micro would be a definite possibility- there's SO much you can talk about. I was expecting a micro q when I did my exam last year. So disappointed when there wasn't. Benefits of Micro-Economic Reform (a) Micro-economic level- technical dynamic and Allocative efficiency as firms...

    Environ Management Essay Q

They might not DIRECTLY refer to environmental management in the essay but there could be a question like "Discuss how a government may seek to acheive sustainable EG" in which case you would talk about EG but may also talk about the CAD being a "speed limit" on level of EG, unequal distibution...

    Sickness

So my friend has been extremely sick for the past two days to the point where I don't think she'll be able to sit through a legal studies exam without vomiting. Does she have to turn up to the exam or can her mum hand in a medical certificate from her doctor in the morning to the supervisors?

Please please reply to this thread as soon as possible!!! URGENT

Well the fact that people from a variety of different contexts can still draw personal interpretations from Hamlet is proof that it has coherence as a text i.e. it can be understood and hold meaning for someone with no knowledge of Shakespeare's context. A big reason for this is it is centred...

Skrzynecki People! How many poems did you talk about and which ones??

I wrote about Ancestors and In the Folk Museum in detail, as they challenged my perception and understanding of belonging the most and briefly referred (about a sentence linking them to my initial 'superficial' understanding of belonging) to 10 Mary Street, Feliks Skrzynecki and St Patricks...

    Section 1 - Stimulus

My time management was horrible. Put all of the good stuff in a, b, c, d and then didn't write enough for e.

    Section 2 - Creative Writing

Loved this section. :) I used the second quote.

    Section 3 - Extended Response

This section was probably my worst. Just because I found it difficult to link my prescribed text to 'understanding' so made up some cliches/generic crap and didn't really link my points well at all. A bit of a mess, really. Mine had too much quantity, not enough quality.

General Thoughts: English Paper 1 (AOS)

I loved the creative! But I waffled in that 3rd section and I didn't feel like I did well at all, despite writing quite a bit. Section 1 was pretty simple but I probably lost a few marks in that last question due to time constraints. I really need to time myself better in Modules. 5 for S1, 9...

How many poems to discuss in belonging essay

Depends on the question. They might ask you for a certain amount of poems. I don't think it'll be more than three. Our trial question asked us to talk about three in detail and make reference to the others which was a bit awkward. Good luck!
