Ok i'm a little unsure about the process of uni offerings. Say for example i get 99.6 UAI (almost impossible) My preferences are: 1. USYD combined law 2. UNSW art/law 3. UTS com/law 4. UTS social inquiry/law 5. Mac arts/law 6. ANU arts/law etc etc so i get the UAI required for USYD...

I'm a bit confused. Say i get into a CSP (commonwealth supported) place for art/law, the maximum band is $8600 per year or something like that. Do i have to pay that per year or is that the ammount that i have to pay the government back after i finish my degree?
