i downloaded the newest version of gozilla and it was crap!!! so i wanna know whats a good download manager that u guys use- i just want it to organise and plus gimme the ability to resume dowloads.

any suggestions welcome!!:D

i use flashget and its good. i havent used any others, so i cant compare.

getright is the best i've used, i've tried flashget, godzilla, and d/l accel.

DAP (pro/full version) is good one...
works fine... you can download all links on a page... download basket...

i also use netpumper for anti-leech stuff.

I've always liked GetRight.
I used GoZilla for a while and it just irked me..

I don't download much from the net anymore tho :D

dl manager... id say flashget

way better than gozilla getright dap blah blah blah

i get faster speeds with it and can get into busy servers easier

just don't use any and play the waiting/patience game

depends what u want to do, if u just want to download and not use the net, u use DAP, if u want to still use some of the net for like browsing, use gozilla to cap the download speeds (dunno if it actually works though, haven't used it in a long time)

btw, does anyone know a program that can cap speeds of particular programs that run using the network / internet?
I know 'NetLimiter' does, but that's some dodgy trial version

Ooh. I just found out an option for wget that'll throttle your bandwidth usage:

wget --limit-rate=2.5k

Sub a value in instead of 2.5k (k for KB, and use m for MB. Case matters).
