Adding Comments to Acrobat Documents (1 Viewer)

Is there a way I can add comments to acrobat documents and save the acrobat document with the comments added? It will save me printing off about 500 pages.
I've searched the help function and it doesn't seem like this is possible.

do you have adobe acrobat; not just adobe acrobat reader?
well, in acrobat 7.. you can click on comment and markup, and then drawing markups tools and then textbox tool and you can type all over your notes in a printable way...if you select document and markups when you go to print. well..you could also add a note but its rather irritating as it floats.

oh i think i only have the reader, i only just realised that 'actobat reader' would be similar to something like word viewer
