Hi all, my principal has decided to contact the BOS about my extension history results as i achieved a 29/50 in exam while receiving a 45/50 in assesment. i was just wondering what this meant? and what does the process involve if anybody knows. (i understand why i got 29 as i did not study or try at all as i knew it wouldnt count in my top 10 units)

Thank you!!

It means you did bad in the exam. You already know the answer anyway.

Whilst it is acceptable that you may not know what this means, it surprises me that a principal doesn't.

I would suggest you come clean to your ex-principal and teacher. It is inconsiderate to have them wonder what went wrong when you clearly know why.

Anomalous results (Principals only)
Principals may seek an explanation of a student’s results or the schools’ candidature in any course where the performance of the student or group is below expectations (prior to 4 February 2012). Each inquiry is thoroughly investigated by Board staff and, where appropriate, supervisors of marking.
