Thanks for that! I got the right answer (172) but wrote the wrong letter.

These are my answers. I was doing the paper at the same time as my class. (I'm a teacher)

I'm really pissed off that there were so many places where people can make SILLY mistakes ... like the credit card question with a rate of 0.05%. I reckon a lot of people will forget to divide by 100.

I made 3 completely stupid mistakes in M/C, and lost 3 marks in the last section, dont know much about median regression lines. So i can expect about 94 if your answers are right.

nup, their latitude is 11 deg apart. as north and south are on horizontal lines, East and west are vertical

I can't see how you got 9 additional hours for question 27 (ii)? I don't get it! I love coming home and checking my answers on the net to see what mark I'll get. I did such a silly mistake, I'm totally kicking myself!! The variation question - I squared it not cubed it!!! ARGHH! I'm also annoyed that they didn't have any Simpsons Rule, I like that!

It's not hard.
Saturday hours are time and a half.
Therefore to convert saturday hours to weekday hours you need to multiple them by time and a half, or 1.5.
6x1.5=9.

I can't see how you got 9 additional hours for question 27 (ii)? I don't get it!

At first, I thought this was a really tedious question. But when I had a careful look it's not so bad. David works for 7 hours on Saturday. 1 hour is unpaid, so he gets 6 paid hours. Saturday is paid at time-and-a-half. So 6 hours on Saturday is worth 6 x 1.5 = 9 hours of normal time, so that's what he has to make up during the week.
