to update the themes of distortion of vision, social status, marriage and courtship etc. using contemporary film techniques for a new younger audience. Essentially this is to prove that these themes are undying and universal throughout the two texts despite the historical context gap of 200 years or so.... How she's done this is through the comparison and contrast of characters, setting and scenes... i.e. techniques. Therefore you pick two scenes from Emma and their parallels in Clueless and compare the themes and techniques to fill your word limit quota. Goodluck.
