I'm considering putting this down as a preference for next year, just wanna know if this degree is worth pursuing? and what major should I do? Computing or Information systems?

Computing.

BIT reminds me of BCompSc, for some reason. Perhaps there are some differences.

Besides, it's a bit early to be thinking about preferences, is it not?

Oh ye IT is the best thing!! hahaha im jokin it depends on what u like i guess. It looks like ur doing the right subjects for it though so u shouldnt have any probs with IT at uni.

My school is apart of the bonus UAI thingy so that means 3 points off. Yeah it would be good to have that degree plus I would have the option to do the master of digital multimedia when I finish.

Whatever one best suits your interests/chosen industry would be your best bet.


Edit: Actually no, disregard the above. You should do a B Arts and major in classical literature. I can feel it.

I want to be multiskilled, have great coding skills and awesome design skills. In particular website design & development, multimedia etc.

Its up to. For important things like choosing a degree it depends on what you want (not others) cause its gonna be something thats stays with you for eva. So if you want IT then u should pursue it. Good luck
