Im in Yr 12 and looking at doing Building Cconstruction Managment next year.
Does anybody else do it?
is it interesting?
how does it compare to Construction managment at UTS?

hey yeh im doing this course atm, not sure how it compares to UTS's tho.

Its alrite so far i spose, i mean u get to wear steel capped boots
The lecture theatres r closest to unibar, but the thing is, u dont have any tutes, just lectures...

the cut off was like 81 in 2005, its hovered around low 80's for a few yrs now.

I'll tell u wat our 1st yr 1st semester subjects are

Construction Technology - all about domestic construction
COnstruction management - just on basic theories of mgt, nuthin on putting it into practise just yet
Computers & IT - designed a house, did some excel spreadsheet crap
Material Science & Engineering - 3 diff strands, 1 on cement, 1 on timber and plastics, 1 on metals and general sci. Had some lab tasks, field trips etc, quite hard
COnstruciton Law - stuff about torts, contracts, general shit

Whats the parking like at UNSW, do i need a permit or something??

its ok atm, it should get more interesting once we get past all the theory and start putting it into practise. No idea about parking, its all 1-2hr parking round the place, and gets packed fast
